The School Counseling program initially became CACREP (Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) accredited in 1998 and continues to meet national standards including those by the American School Counseling Association. View our CACREP Program Outcomes.

  • Allows students to seamlessly take extra courses that qualify them for the Indiana Mental Health Counseling license or our College and Career Readiness certificate.
  • Graduates are employed in many educational settings, including most school districts in Central Indiana.

Program Highlights

The Master of Science in School Counseling program is a highly focused degree that serves primarily the school districts and citizens of Indiana. It is a 60-credit hour program operating on a three-year cycle. A new cohort of 24 students is admitted each fall.
